Mr. Jaeger graduated from the University of Florida with a Juris Doctorate
degree in 1974. From 1974 until 1981, Mr. Jaeger served as a prosecutor
with the State Attorney’s Office in Orange County. He was the Chief
of County Courts, Chief of Traffic Court and Chief of the Juvenile Division.
During his time as a prosecutor, he was assigned to special governor appointments
regarding murder cases in counties where there was a conflict with the
State Attorney’s Office. He was the first prosecutor to try a Racketeering/RICO
case in Seminole County. Mr. Jaeger was appointed to represent the State
Attorney’s Office at the National Juvenile Justice Conference in
Washington D.C., which resulted in a statutory reform of juvenile law
in the State of Florida.
